Transcripts & Preview Notes
Every audio or video item should have a readable transcript or detailed recap. Grown-ups can preview it before pressing play, use the transcript instead of media, search for a word, or return to a section without replaying the whole item.
Our transcript standards
- Show the Scripture references near the top.
- Mark any section intended for ages 12-14+ only.
- Include a two-sentence “what this covers” preview.
- Avoid autoplay.
- If a media item discusses a heavy passage, place the parent preview before the play button.
- Keep transcript paragraphs short enough to read comfortably on mobile.
